Lichfield Cathedral is the only medieval cathedral in the UK that has three spires and is a little gem sitting in the heart of the city. The front screen featured here is decorated with 100 statues of English monarchs and saints. The background colour to the painting was graduated thus creating a warm hue to the sandstone.
