This charming Tudor farmhouse is the childhood home of Mary Shakespeare nee Arden, the mother of William Shakespeare. The farmhouse was built in 1514 by Mary’s father, Robert Arden. I have flattened out the perspective here so you can see the front garden in its entirety alongside the house. The picture is full of detail and I have included William Shakespeare alongside his mother Mary and father John.
